Renowned editor Sarah Andelman and artist Jean Jullien teamed up to celebrate the joy of reading and publishing. An exuberant literary exhibition and pop-up shop, Mise En Page brings Jullien's Paper People series to life at Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche. In this department store on Paris' left bank, two enormous figures interrupt the typical shopping experience with their playful love for print, disrupting the Renowned editor Sarah Andelman and artist Jean Jullien have collaborated to create an exuberant literary exhibition and pop-up shop called Mise En Page. The exhibition celebrates the joy of reading and publishing. It brings Jullien's Paper People series to life at Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche, a department store on Paris' left bank.
The exhibition features two enormous figures interrupting the typical shopping experience with their playful love for print, disrupting the usual shopping experience. Mise En Page includes a library of the artist's monographs designed in his signature two-dimensional style, as well as kiosks from New York City's Strand and Pillow-Cat Books, Oakland's Book/Shop, and Paris' own Ofr, which are among readers' favorite bookstores.
Additionally, Andelman has displayed five new artist volumes she has worked on with Just an Idea. Mise En Page is open until April 21, so visit Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche and experience this wonderful celebration of the love of reading and publishing—usual shopping experience.
